Palliative Care
At Abicare we understand how distressing it can be to have a terminal illness, and the emotional impact that it has not only on yourself, but also on your family and friends.
Our carers are trained to care for clients who require long-term or short-term palliative care, and there are many options for palliative care at home to ensure that you retain your independence for as long as possible.
We will work with you and your family to create a care plan that is tailored to your needs and requirements, which can be amended at any point to reflect any changes in your condition.
Our end of life team is fully trained to provide the very best support with your preferences and wishes at the forefront of your care plan.
Palliative care provides you with an alternative option to going into a hospice and allows you stay at home surrounded by your possessions and treasured memories. This is why we provide a number of palliative care options.
What do we provide?
Home care
Based on your care plan and specific needs, our carers can visit at specific times of the day- You can choose the amount of visits you require per day or per week and for how long each visit will last.
We provide home care in and around Salisbury, Swindon, Bradford-on-Avon, Basingstoke and South East Wales.
Live-in care
One of our trained live-in carers will live with you at home to provide the practical and compassionate support that you need, based on your requirements and person-centered care plan. We provide live-in care in England and Wales.
Respite care
If your usual caregiver needs to take a break, we offer respite care to help support you and your caregiver.
