What is Companionship Care?
If you or a loved one need assistance or just want a bit of company but don’t require home care, then Companionship Care could be for you! Our Companionship Carers are fully vetted and fully trained by our training team, so whether you require some basic home help, you’d like to be accompanied on days out, or you just fancy having a chat with someone over a cup of tea and a slice of cake, Abicare can help.

We know that various situations in life can have an effect on people who may need some support – As a relative or a friend of someone who may require Companionship Care, you may find that you are unable to help as much as you would like due to your personal circumstances, such as being a parent to young children, working full time and even the ongoing impact of Covid.
Something as simple as collecting medication from the pharmacy may prove to be challenging but our Companionship Care Service can assist – with our vast range of services, we will be there for you as and when you need us.

- Companionship and conversation

- Participating in hobbies and crafts
- Attending plays, concerts or clubs
- Light housework – including laundry, ironing, making the bed and changing bed linen
