Abicare

Yvonne was keen to work for Abicare because of our dedicated focus to care and quality.

Yvonne first started her career initially working in schools, and then as a social worker before moving into adult care five years ago. Before joining Abicare she was managing an extra care scheme for forty adults and eighteen staff.

Yvonne has a BSc (Hons) in Social Sciences; an MSc in Forensic Psychology and Criminology; a DipSW (professional social work qualification); a post-grad Diploma in Children and Families Studies; a City & Guilds in Learning Support, and an NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care.

Yvonne lives in Dorset, where she has lived for most of her life. She is married with two grown up sons, who are both musicians.

She runs two environmental groups in the town where she lives, and she is passionate about reducing plastic waste. Yvonne enjoys gardening, reading, hiking, and music.
