Abicare

Steve recently joined Abicare as Chief Executive Officer. He has 30 years of business development, marketing, account management and operations experience across a variety of industry sectors, the last 10 years of which have been working closely with the NHS and healthcare sectors. 

Graduating from University with a Business Degree, Steve joined Endsleigh Insurance, quickly becoming a branch manager, and regional manager overseeing their first £1M and £2M turnover offices.

After a brief recruitment role, Steve turned to healthcare, and in particular occupational health services via organisations such as Aviva, and Capita. Here he designed, created, sold and delivered bespoke solutions to large corporate client challenges.

More recently Steve has worked with a sickness absence proposition prior to and during the pandemic – which he will tell you was a real challenge – and led a hospital at home provision for the NHS and community. 

Steve joins Abicare with a wealth of experience, and is keen to develop new pathways and solutions to solve the existing challenges in healthcare today. Watch this space for more…  

Outside of work, Steve has been married for 25 years, has two children, a granddaughter, and two dogs. Anyone who knows Steve will be fully aware of the strong Arsenal football links, his interest in all things automobile, and Italy – just Italy. 

He tells us he lives by two mottos. 

Ut Severis Seges – His school motto, meaning, ‘What you sow, so shall you reap’, and Veni, Vidi, Vici which we will leave you to decipher.
