Abicare

Sandra has worked with Abicare since its inception in 2006. In her role as HR Director, she is responsible for the design and implementation of HR strategy for the business.  Sandra has over 35 years’ experience working with large companies in HR, Management and Training Consultancy within the hospitality, retail and care sector. She is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Personnel & Development (MCIPD).

Sandra’s first involvement with caring began in her youth when she spent a week in a Care Home whilst working towards her Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award. It was an experience that she has always remembered and is passionate about ensuring that we provide an excellent service to our clients and staff.

Originally from Scotland, Sandra moved to Salisbury 25 years ago with her husband and three (now grown up) children. It was then she became a founder member of a Salisbury Pre-School and is currently a School Governor.   At weekends Sandra enjoys family time, travelling and walking her two Labradors – Oscar & Theo.
