Abicare

Leonie is Abicare’s Company Training Manager. She joined Abicare in December 2001 as a full time domiciliary carer. Although she had previous experience in the care sector, Leonie had not been involved in Domiciliary Care, and she relished taking on a new challenge. 

Leonie went on to receive a number of professional qualifications, including Level 5 in Leadership and Management, allowing her to become a trainer for Abicare. Due to Abicare’s expansion, Leonie started to run the Abicare Training Department, becoming the Company Training Manager. 

As Company Training Manager, Leonie is responsible for ensuring that all staff receive training – she is also involved in writing policies and works closely with the Development Team on new projects.. She also writes bespoke training sessions for Abicare.

When she’s not working, Leonie loves to go surfing.
