Abicare

Kim joined Abicare in 2021 as our recruiter in Spain – she previously worked in the UK as a Live-in carer and a domiciliary carer.

As our recruiter in Spain, Kim assists the carers from the start of their journey and continues to support them when they are placed into a package. She also provides assistance in placing carers in packages to suit their abilities and experience.

Kim has always had a passion for care and she is pleased with the support and opportunities that Abicare have offered her to continue to do the job she loves from home in Spain.

Kim has an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, and she has assisted in training more than 100 carers in Spain to work as live-in carers in the UK.

Kim would like to assist Abicare to grow and eventually have offices and a training centre in Spain.

Kim has a particular moment in her career that she is proud of – She managed to assist one of her clients leave his house. Due to his mental health conditions this was a long and slow process, but with Kim’s dedication he managed to take a step out each day and after a year they were eventually paddling their feet in the sea and eating fish and chips on the seafront.
