Abicare

Katie-Louise joined Abicare in March 2023 as a Live-in Field Care Supervisor in Wales. She is responsible for maintaining and promoting quality care for clients and supervising and coordinating Live-in carers out in the community. She enjoys the fast pace of the role and getting to know and work with a diverse group of needs and requirements. In care, no two days are the same!

Katie-Louise has always had a passion for helping people and making a difference to their day to day life. She started working in domiciliary care in 2016, alongside training to be a dental nurse. During the covid pandemic she went back to domiciliary care to offer some support. She also worked her way up within dentistry as she always wanted to remain within the health care sector, and she is a Member of the GDC (General Dental Council) as a registered dental nurse (280632).

Katie-Louise is proud to work for Abicare because we strive to encourage independence and we work with organisations to give our clients the best quality of life.

In her spare time, Katie-Louise enjoys baking and going for long walks with Athena, her Pomsky.
